Knitted patchwork is very popular at the moment. Using this idea, this workshop is spread over 3 separate workshop days. Part 1 covers Intarsia, the technique of knitting designs in colour. Part 2 looks at creating texture with knitting and Part 3 teaches Fair Isle knitting using the two-handed method. Put together the 3 techniques can create a lovely centrepiece for your table or mount the finished panel on the wall. Alternatively, a single workshop would still give the participant an understanding of one of the 3 techniques with a finished piece to use as they would wish. We will also cover ways of knitting onto an existing piece to create that patchwork feel.
