This workshop looks at working lace and bead knitting techniques –

The day will consist of looking at the techniques separately and then look at working the techniques together, and introduce different yarns that help to emphasise these techniques and add to their beauty e.g. Rowan Kid Silk Haze. Patterns and examples shown on the day will help to provide project ideas and inspiration for using these techniques and the different yarns will give participants added experience of the Rowan yarn range.

The day covers:  The basics to lace knitting e.g. the stitches and how they are worked  How to work with beads  Looking at how patterns are written, or charted  Using the techniques together
