If you are new to crochet or need a refresher, this workshop is for you. It is suitable for complete beginners and for those who already knit or sew or have previously tried the basics of crochet. You will learn a variety of basic stitches (the foundation chain, double crochet, treble crochet) and techniques (how to hold the hook & yarn, working in the round, turning chains & pattern reading) and use that knowledge to make a simple flower and coaster or granny square. You will need to bring a 4mm crochet hook or you can purchase one in-store. Yarns are provided and together with the supporting written materials, these should help you carry on at home.
