Rowan Studio 19 by Grace Melville is inspired by the fresh pastel shades seen up and down the Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks.

Rowan Studio Issue 20 by Grace Melville is a combination of the Spring/Summer 2010 denim-on-denim trend, and the modern safari trend.

Understated elegance was the Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalks' main message.  With inspiration taken from '50s icons, this issue's theme is about desirable staples.

Studio 18 is inspired by the Autumn/Winter 2009 Catwalk, where oversized and slouchy garments with fazed stripes and subtle pattern were strong themes throughout.

Hit the high seas! The catwalks were 'awash' with both nautical and preppy styles for Spring/Summer 2008.

A leap into Spring... With skirts and dresses set to be popular for Spring/Summer 2008 Studio 9 shows eight cardigans perfect for layering and covering four of the major trends seen on the catwalks.

We're seeing denim everywhere at the moment, both on the high street and on the catwalk. This collection is Rowan's interpretation and what to wear with your denim favourites using Wool Cotton 4ply.

Folk influences were to be found for both adult and child's wear this season and Rowan Studio 30 offers a capsule wardrobe of knits for every little fashionista! From a cosy 'grandad' cardigan for boys to a pretty cape for girls. Hopefully this collection will have everyone wishing they were young again.

Crochet has been on trend for the last few seasons and it looks to remain very popular for winter 2012 and into spring 2013. Many of the influential designers have included crochet in their catwalk shows, helping to dispel the once ‘dowdy’ image of crochet and making it ‘chic’ and a must have item to wear. The Christopher Kane collection in particular received much acclaim, reviving the use of the traditional ‘granny square’. Looks can vary from the fitted, high round neck sweater to the grunge inspired loose structured knit.

Inspired by the 1960's 'Mod' look, this collection features strong graphic patterns and bold stripes. The designs predominantly feature our Rowan Kid Classic yarn with the addition of Kidsilk Haze to some designs to emphasize the trend for thick and thin textures.
