A collection of 6 projects designed exclusively as free downloads for Row@n members, as featured in Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 54. These extra designs are from the two stories Romancing and Folk.
These 6 designs were created by the students of Winchester College of Art and Design, as featured in Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 54. The 'Between the Wars' brief set by Marie Wallin, challenged the students to focus on garment detailing, stitches and colour of the 1930's and 40's, utilising the wealth of design inspiration from the Knitting Reference Library at Winchester.
We invited the Rowan Ambassadors in producing an accessory project using either Kidsilk Amore or Kidsilk Amore Shimmer. We were so impressed with their designs that we have decided to feature them as an Online Collection. All designs use just one ball of yarn and are quick to knit.
All Seasons Chunky Selects is a bonus collection of exclusive designs by Vicky Sedwick, Helen Ardley and Pauline Ellis. With two knit and four crochet patterns this selection includes pretty hats and cowls that can be made using either 1,2 or 3 balls of our stunning yarn All Seasons Chunky.
Summer Crochet - Online Collection is taken from the Rowan archive, from the brochure Summer Crochet. Rowan’s first brochure solely dedicated to the craft of crochet. A historical and richly atmospheric fishing harbour provides a stunning backdrop to this ultimately feminine collection of 6 modern and easy-to-wear garments by Marie Wallin using Cotton Glace - all available as a free download pattern.
This collection of one & two ball projects have been designed exclusively for the Knitrowan website. With fabulous accessory designs ranging from snoods and leg warmers to hats and scarves there's a two ball accessory for everyone!
A collection of five timeless designs using our Pure Wool Worsted yarn. Patterns include two longline ladies sweaters, a wonderful slouchy cable bag and a cable hat and fingerless mittens that can both be knitted using just one ball of yarn. These designs are all free to download for Row@n members.
