The time has come again for people to get involved with Innocent Smoothies' Big Knit.
This year is the tenth anniversary of the campaign which has seen millions of miniature wool hats made for the drinks bottles, with money from each one going towards helping Age UK and older people during the winter months.
Since it began well over £1 million has been raised by volunteer knitters who have used a wide variety of coloured yarn, bobbles and beads to create unique and creative bottle decorations.
Between now and October knitters from around the world can send in their bottle hats, ready to be sold in stores from November, with 25p from each donated to Age UK.
According to the smoothie company a whole host of weird and wonderful hats are sent in each year, with 80 per cent coming from the elderly people who will directly benefit from the charity's service.
The money raised goes back into local Age UK centres, helping them to fund winter initiatives such as home visits, befriending and lunch clubs in the local community.
You can access simple miniature hat patterns on the Innocent Smoothie website or get creative and come up with your own unique ideas.
This could be making tiny animal heads, novelty hats from countries around the world or helmets - the weirder and wackier the better so that they stand out on the supermarket shelves.
You could sit and make the hats on your own while relaxing in front of the telly, or get together with family and friends and swap ideas and skills.
Once you've made your hats you will then need to put them in an envelope, clearly writing your name, address and the number of hats knitted, and send them to the Innocent Smoothies headquarters by Tuesday October 1st.
The company is encouraging people to share their stories so feel free to also pop in a note explaining the reasons behind your creations.
