The Campaign For Wool launching new event at Somerset House

The Campaign For Wool event is not to be missed

This March, The Campaign for Wool will launch a massively exciting new event to be held at Somerset House, London, which will blow open the visual possibilities of interior design using our favourite fibre; wool.

Wool House will open its doors from March 13th to the 24th, and will be curated by the hugely experienced and talented interior designer Arabella McNie.

With the aim of showcasing the best of how the design community utilises the fibre to create spectacular results, Wool House will comprise of seven individual rooms put together by celebrated industry designers such as Donna Wilson and Kit Kemp. At Rowan, we are extremely proud to also be involved with leading a series of interactive workshops championing our beautiful British Sheep Breeds yarns, as part of the exhibition.

In conjunction with Country Homes & Interiors magazine, Rowan will also be holding a crochet square event during Wool House. Readers will be asked to crochet a square and send it in to Country Homes & Interiors. There will also be the chance to attend Wool House in person to meet the Rowan and Country Homes & Interiors teams, learn to crochet, or simply be inspired by the designers.

All the entries will then be sent out to select designers, in order for them to be transformed into exclusive homeware designs. The finished pieces will then be featured within the magazine, and will be auctioned for charity later in the year. For more information on this charity event, click here.
