It's not often that European TV shows manage to translate well in the UK, however, Forbrydelsen, better known in the UK as The Killing, has become a huge success with British audiences.
The critically-acclaimed Danish crime drama is now preparing for its third series and also releasing The Killing handbook to tie in with it.
Fans will be able to indulge their passion for the show and main protagonist Sarah Lund, giving a handy insight into her world of Nordic noir.
It also features instructions on how to knit her famous woolly jumpers.
Written by actress and writer Emma Kennedy, the tongue-in-cheek guide has even been given a seal of approval from Lund herself, with the actress who plays the detective, Sofie Grabol, writing the book's foreword.
The distinctive Faroese patterned jumper has become The Killing's and Grabol's trademark, with fans all keen to copy her laidback, cosy look.
Grabol recently revealed that she chose to wear the sweater because it "tells so many stories" about her workaholic character.
"It tells of a person who doesn't use her sexuality - that's a big point. Lund's so sure of herself she doesn't have to wear a suit. She's at peace with herself," the actress admitted.
The book is set to be out in mid-November, meaning it could be a great Christmas present for die-hard fans, especially if they somehow manage to watch the third series, which airs in Denmark this autumn.
No date has been set for the UK run of the programme, however, it is expected to attract a high numbers of viewers, with around three million people watching the last series.
Sarah Lund's distinctive Faroese knitwear is produced by Gudrun Gudrun, and is particularly intricate, making it more of an intermediate project.
