It can be used in an array of ways, such as for bedding and linen, floor coverings and carpets, interior textiles, accessories and insulating materials.
The core of the project for the design sector is The Wool Lab Interiors, which is a laboratory for research and processing of wool-related trends.
It provides a guide to the best wool textiles and most interesting and innovative applications of wool in the interior textile and furnishing sectors.
Inside a selection of the newest products from leading global companies are features, as well as an inspirational trend book and a work tool.

The guide will be previewed at the Milan Furniture Exhibition this month, where a few inspirational themes are being showcased to celebrate the launch of the first edition.
This includes Scandinavian, which depicts dusty colours, clean lines and influences from the 50s and 60s.
Other trends include Metropolis, which uses combinations of wool and leather, combed fabrics and draperies to convey the modern need for linearity mixed with technology using grey shades and natural colours to produce clean lines and high quality materials.
