Wildwood is inspired by an ornate tapestry of reclaimed and time worn florals and heritage country wear in an autumnal palette of tobacco brown, loden green and gunmetal grey, highlighted by rich chamois, burnt orange, clotted cream and oxblood. ‘Wildwood’ is a collection formed out eclectic mixes of historic baroque, oriental and Swedish florals with heirloom arans mixed, cables and moss stitch combine with handcrafted crochet and sampler embroidery to create a beautiful collection of unstructured knits with a subtle disheveled and vagabond finish. Shapes are folded, tucked and clinched for fit and function. Cape coats, primitive blanket coat wraps, boyfriend oversized slouchy jumpers and cardigans with contrast patterns and textures as well as fitted layer sweaters are the key shapes with collapsed collars as the major neck detail.
